    And yes, I think Alison has said it best before me: the simplicity of the compisition and the flower itself gives some kind of modest elegance to the whole picture.

    (One question out of mere curiosity: have you ever TRIED to convert this - just so you'd see if it'd have any impact in b+w? Do you do that, to maybe find out that it would not have worked with this?)
