Children without a healthy fear of strangers?

  • My daughter is a year old and she doesn't seem to have a healthy fear of strangers I am not sure if it's something that I did wrong as a parent but she will just go up to anybody....men in particular...and this scares the living hell out of me!!!....is there any advice that anyone can give me?


  • You shouldn't be letting your one year old daughter anywhere near strangers in the first place, where were you? Secondly, she has no idea what a stranger is because of her age, how is showing her a video going teach her that? You need to keep a closer watch on her when you are out with her, and I mean like be her bodyguard. I have a 5 year old and she gets more protection than Presidents, Kings or Queens. And that will continue for the next 13 years.


  • You need to show her videos or something that shows her that strangers arent good for kids. Like when I was in like kindergarden, i had to watch a video that shows what to do if a stranger comes up to you or something and who is and isn't strangers. But since she is a year old. just make sure you keep her really close to you when out in public and when she gets older, tell her how dangerous that can be.
