I'M LOOKING SPECIFIC INFORMATION ON HOW TO PURCHASE A TOYOTA
AUTOMOBILE FRANCHISE AND BUILD A NEW DEALERSHIP IN ARIZONA? WHAT ARE
THE REQUIREMENTS AND HOW MUCH OF A CAPITAL INVESTMENT IS REQUIRED?
You might find interesting an article from October 2002, which says in
part, ""It's becoming very difficult for that individual entrepreneur
to buy a Toyota dealership because of the public companies who are
willing to spend money to acquire the metropolitan stores that we
have," .... A Toyota franchise can sell for between $500,000 to $15
million, depending on location and volume ...."

I am a former Honda dealer, typically you cannot buy a new franchise
from the manufacturer. Dealership "points" are awarded to qualified
individuals. If you do not have an extensive background in running a
new car dealership you probably will not be awarded a franchise.
However, you may be able to purchase a franchise from an existing
dealer looking to sell his/her store. But, you will still need to
seek approval from the manufacturer to purchase the store. Typically,
you are looking on spending between $1M to $25M (or more) for a Toyota
store depending on the location. A single Toyota store in the greater
Phoenix or Tucson market would probably run at a minimum $10M. Good
luck
