Indian moviestars as Terrorists.......?

  • Bollywood has always been partial to the "other" side - showing the "human side " of Dacoits, Criminals, Thieves etc...and now Terrorists.

    Do you think that Indian superstars (who are so popular with a large number of youngsters who get impressed easily) should refuse to play roles glorifying terrorists ?
    e.g. Mission Kashmir, Fanaa, Fiza etc

    Instead, they should re-affirm that wrong is wrong and nothing can justify murder.




  • Hmmm... This is an interesting thought. I am of the opinion that the superstars should actually refuse to do the roles of terrorists, but rogues, thieves, dacoits, etc. are humans and showing the other side of them won't really do any harm. Although it is true, that their positions shouldn't be justified in the film and their charactiers should be portrayed vis-a-vis.






  • You also need to understand that in all such movies they've shown that in the end it leaves them completely destroyed. In all such movies they show that the main person/hero of the movie dies in the end and its more than enough to make us understand that wrong doings will lead to destruction, always. So, this is not at all any concern and on top of that, there is no Indian citizen who would want to become a terrorist unlike our neighboring countries.
