When is the best time to purchase a House in Perth, WA? ?

  • Spring time usually brings out a lot of sellers in most parts of the country. More houses on the market mean more competition.

    Right before school starts is good too(end of summer), as people want to be in their new places so kids can got to new school.

    There's really no specific best or worst time to buy, just making sure you buy the right place for the right price.


  • To purchase any house the best time is in the winter or during rainy days. That way you see how warm it is or if the roof leaks and if it is drafty.


  • It's a buyers market at the moment House prices have dropped

    or at least within the next 6 months
    house prices are dropping, interest rates are dropping and first home buyers are getting a lot of assistance and incentives from the government :)
